TUNA ARRABIATA
How to jazz up tuna pasta? It's all about the garlic and lemon. And if you're a chilli lover like me, add some chilli oil to the table for a proper nose-blowing extravaganza afterwards!
12 min

Ingredients
- pasta (90g uncooked per adult, 50g per child)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100g frozen onion
- 50g frozen garlic
- 400g chopped tomatoes
- 100g tinned tuna
- 1 lemon
- 100g grated cheese of your choice
- salad leaves
- garlic and chilli oil for the table
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to packet instructions in a large high-sided saucepan
- In your biggest frying pan, heat olive oil and brown frozen onion and frozen garlic
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook off acidity on a high heat for 5 mins
- Add tinned tuna
- Once pasta is cooked, drain and combine tuna tomato mix with pasta in the saucepan (less messy that way round) and transfer into serving bowl
- Garnish with lemon zest and generous squeeze of juice
- Serve with grated cheese, salad leaves and spicy accompaniments on the table
- ENJOY!
