Mealtimes can be a nightmare if you have conflict at the table. Young children respond well to a routine, but sometimes they can be anxious or disruptive and it’s tough to bring them around.

Here’s one thing to try to keep the mood light and help you stay zen… Music!

We’ve always loved sharing music with our children and mealtimes are an especially good time to use it to our advantage; quiet background music can really help to cement the routine and lighten the mood too. One minute they’re in a grump, the next they’re smiling and having a little chair boogie.

Why not try it sometime?

The ‘Moana’ and ‘Sing’ soundtracks are the current favourites in our house!
